shortly after... we were escorted under a private check-in at level 7 by a friendly hotel staff who speaks fluent english and introduced us to the hotel facilities and restaurant along the way...
They were very friendly and polite!
door can be drawn to separate the bedroom and the living room...
was i asked to act cute ?
hence the whole hotel room is like a round-a-bout ... one linked to the other...
64 sqm which is equivalent to a 3-room flat in Singapore
from what we know ours was the second best room in the hotel
its actually called Studio King (as our bedsize is king)
1 night rate - THB 10500
which is equivalent to about SGD$470 per night,
and we stayed 2 nights
Theres one more room which is even better than ours
its also the one and only...
called the D'Suite
which cost THB 22000
= SGD$990 per night
You may check out the rates HERE.
( i din even know the bed need to be opened up, the hotel staff knock on our door and asked to open the bed for us, sth interesting too...)
we went to this Old Chiang Mai Cultural Centre for our dinner.
it was a place which my dad had brought me to when i was still a kid, so i find it quite familiar when i visited there...
we spotted this apple green Volkswagen Beetle parked outside the hotel...
and took a snap of it... it seems like the mOst expensive car parked outside the hotel... :)
spotted these interesting T-shirts and took a few snap of it too... haha...
After that when we were on our way back to our hotel, theres a sudden downpour...
there wasn't a proper shelter plus we dont want to waste our time there waiting for the rain to stop, hence we had no choice but to rush across the streets to our hotel... along the way we got a bit lost... dunnoe where our hotel is... but fortunately we found it in the end.
Before we actually arrived at the hotel.. the hotel security guard who spotted us came out and sheltered us with a big umbrella... as big as those u see at the poolside.
afterall ... we were both totally drenched!
in the end we used the hotel laundry service which we were entitled to a 20% off. :)
hope u enjoy this post!
Next will be Day 2 in Chiang Mai where we went for the Elephant rides!
Stay tuned!
